Do I have a wall of pride regarding parenting?
Yes!
Why?
You do not want to be like your parents. In result of that you are parenting out of fear. You have to be open to criticism in parenting. You are a great parent but you do not know everything. I am the great teacher follow and ask Me if you´re struggling with anything.
Fear and pride is not a characteristic trait of the Father. I did not give you a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. You are going to make plenty of mistakes. When you find yourself parenting out of fear/pride dig into the word to get back on track with Gods perspective.
